Membership FAQ

What membership tiers are available for lash Artists?

We offer Standard and Featured membership tiers. Standard provides directory inclusion and verification, while Featured offers priority placement and enhanced profile analytics for maximum visibility. Featured membership profiles also includes extra features such as the artists direct booking link for easy client bookings.

How does the billing cycle work?

Memberships are billed monthly on a recurring basis starting from the day your profile is activated. You can view all past invoices and upcoming payment dates within your Artist Dashboard.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my tier at any time?

Yes, you can email us at contact@thelashregistry.com.au to request any profile or account changes. Upgrades take effect immediately to boost your profile, while downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period.

What is the cancellation policy?

There are no lock-in contracts. You can cancel your membership at any time with 14 days notice before your next billing cycle to avoid further charges. Your profile will remain active until the final day of your notice period.

How do I update my profile details?

You can edit or update your studio name, address, bio, pricing, gallery images, and social links via contacting us at Contact@thelashregistry.com.au. Some updates will take effect immediately, while others may require a short review.

How long does the verification process take?

Once you've submitted your documents and social links, our review team typically completes the assessment within 3-5 business days. You'll receive an email notification as soon as your profile is activated.

Does The Lash Registry cover regional Australia?

Absolutely. While many artists are based in major hubs like Sydney, Melbourne, and Gold Coast, we are committed to providing a nationwide directory. Clients can search by postcode to find verified talent across all states and territories.

How can I contact support if I have trouble?

Our dedicated support team is available via email at contact@thelashregistry.com.au. We aim to respond to all artist and client enquiries within 24-48 hours during business days.

Are there any hidden booking fees for clients?

No. The Lash Registry is a directory service designed to connect you with the best artists. We don't charge clients a fee for searching, discovering artists, or booking with an artist.

Booking terms and deposits are handled directly by each artist.

Can I update my profile after it's been verified?

Yes, artists can update their portfolio images, bios, and service lists at any time via contacting the team at Contact@thelashregistry.com.au. Please note that significant changes to business credentials may trigger a brief re-verification check.

What happens if my verification is declined?

If your application doesn't meet our current standards, we'll provide specific feedback on what is missing or needs improvement. You are welcome to reapply once you have addressed those requirements.

Membership Terms

1. Membership Eligibility 

To qualify for membership with The Lash Registry, applicants must demonstrate compliance with Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) standards specifically pertaining to eyelash extension application. Members must hold a valid certification from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to ensure consumer safety and industry excellence.

2. Verification Standards

The Lash Registry maintains a rigorous verification process. Mandatory proof of certification, business registration (ABN), and public liability insurance must be submitted. Verification is performed manually by our compliance team to validate the authenticity of all documentation provided by the artist prior to registry activation.

3. Subscription Billing

Membership fees are processed on a monthly recurring basis via our automated secure payment gateway. By subscribing, you authorise The Lash Registry to deduct the agreed membership tier fee from your nominated credit or debit card on the same date each month until the subscription is formally terminated.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Members may cancel their subscription at any time via contacting the team at Contact@thelashregistry.com.au. A minimum of 14 days' notice prior to the next billing cycle is required to avoid further charges. Please note that membership fees are non-refundable for partial months, following standard Australian Consumer Law regarding digital subscription services.

5. Artist Obligation

All registered artists are obligated to maintain strict hygiene standards in accordance with local health department regulations. Members must maintain current professional indemnity and public liability insurance at all times. Failure to adhere to these standards or the Registry Code of Conduct may result in immediate suspension of listing.

6. Client Protections

The Lash Registry provides a formal complaint procedure for clients who experience services that do not meet the Registry's advertised standards. We facilitate communication between parties and may arbitrate disputes to ensure the integrity of the lash industry and the safety of consumers across the Australian network.Complaints can be addressed to Contact@thelashregistry.com.au.

The Lash Registry collects personal and business information necessary for the operation of our directory services. This includes contact details, business registration information, and professional credentials provided by Artists during the verification process. As of 17 May 2026, all data collection is performed in strict accordance with Australian privacy standards

2. How Data is Used

Your information is primarily used to maintain your professional directory listing, facilitate client bookings, and issue authenticated registry alerts. We use internal analytics to improve our service offerings and ensure that both Artists and clients receive the most relevant information regarding Australian lash standards and safety protocols.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. Personal information is only shared with essential third-party service providers, such as payment processors for subscription billing, or as required by law. All featured third-party partners are audited for compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles to ensure the integrity of your data.

4. Cookies & Tracking

The Lash Registry utilises cookies and similar tracking technologies to monitor site usage and optimise user experience. These tools help us understand visitor behavior and improve directory functionality. Users may manage their tracking preferences via their browser settings, though some aspects of the platform may be limited if tracking is disabled.

5. Data Security

We employ enterprise-grade security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or disclosure. Our protocols comply with the Australian Privacy Principles and are reviewed annually. While no digital transmission is entirely secure, we maintain rigorous internal controls to mitigate risks to your personal and professional information.
